CSPCA's Dog Walk: "Did Somebody Say Walk?" and Alumni Parade
JOIN US FOR THE FUN!

Weiler Park on Borden Avenue in Norwich
featuring CSPCA's Alumni
"Did Somebody Say WALK?" is your chance to get outside and walk with your dog while supporting Chenango SPCA's mission to help the homeless and abused animals of our community. Participants will have the opportunity to walk along the Chenango Greenway Conservancy's River Walk Trail. www.chenangogreenway.org
Walk as an Individual:
Grab your walking shoes and tell your dog your going for a walk to help homeless animals.
Our goal is for each individual walker to raise $50+ in pledges. The first 100 individuals that raise $50+ will receive a 2010 "Did Someboday Say WALK?" t-shirt, matching bandana for their dog and a goody bag! Pledges must be turned in by the start of the walk.

1. Set Your Goal
2. Create a free and easy online webpage by going to www.firstgiving.com/chenangospca
3. Collect donations from everyone you know. Use your online webpage if you are shy about asking.
4. Tell your dog on October 2, that it's time to walk for homeless animals!

Walk as a PACK:
Grab your 4-6 of your friends, family or co-workers and raise funds as a team!
The first 4 teams that raise $200+ will receive a 2010 "Did Somebody Say WALK?" t-shirt, matching bandana for their dog and a goody bag! Pledges must be turned in by the start of the walk.

4. Collect donations from everyone you know. Use your online webpage if you are shy about asking.
5. Ask your place of work if they have a matching gift program and double your fundraising efforts!

PRIZES:
Individual Prizes:
1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Prizes will be awarded to those individuals who raise the most money that is turned in by the start of the walk.
Team Prizes:
The team that raises the most money that is turned in by the start of the walk will receive:
Pizza Party at the shelter with a private tour OR at place of work. (Sponsored by Nina's Pizzeria and Cafe Connection)
Trophy, generously sponsored by Broad Street Chiropractic

PRIZES AND GIVEAWAYS THROUGHOUT THE DAY!
The Day of the Walk:
10 AM -- Registration
Was your dog adopted from the Chenango SPCA? Stop into the CSPCA Alumni Tent to pick up your special ribbon.
11 AM -- Opening Ceremony
Blessing of the Animals
Followed by Warm Up Exercise by AIM Fitness
11:15 AM -- CSPCA ALUMNI PARADE!!
Then, the Dog Walk Begins... walk around Weiler Park or venture off to see the River Walk Trail, newly developed by the Chenango Greenway Conservancy
NOON -- Prizes and Awards
